Privacy Policy

Effective August 7, 2026

This policy explains what personal information the EffiWise website collects, why, and what we do with it. It is written to be read, not to protect us. If something here is unclear, emailcontact@effiwise.com and we will answer plainly.

Who we are

EffiWise Solutions is a technology and consulting firm based in Belmont,MS. For anything in this policy, the data controller is EffiWise Solutions, reachable at contact@effiwise.com.

What we collect, and why

There are only three ways this site collects personal information.

1. When you use the contact form

If you fill out the contact form, we collect the name, email address, optional company, optional phone number, and message you type in, plus the topic tag if you arrived from a specific service page. We use that information for one thing: to read your message and reply to you. The submission is delivered to us by email through Resend, our email provider. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not need an account or a password from you.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you give us your phone number and check the SMS consent box on the contact form, you are opting in to receive text messages from EffiWise about your inquiry: things like replies to your message, scheduling, and follow-up on work we are discussing. Consent is optional, it is never a condition of contacting us or buying anything, and the box is never pre-checked. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or emailingcontact@effiwise.com.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data are never shared with or sold to third parties. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.The only exception is the messaging infrastructure itself: Twilio, our SMS provider, transmits the messages, the same way Resend transmits our email.

2. When you register for a session

If you sign up for AI Inside the Agency, our weekly open hour, we collect your name, email address, agency name, the answer you pick about what you use for AI today, and whatever you write in the optional "what are you working on, or stuck on" box. We use it to send you the join link, a calendar invite, and one reminder the morning of the session, and to know who is in the room. Those emails are delivered through Resend, our email provider.

We keep a record of your registration in our own database, and in PostHog, our analytics tool, so we have a roster for each session and can see which sessions people come back for. This is a record of the form you chose to send us, so it happens whether or not you accepted analytics cookies. It sets no cookies, uses no advertising or cross-site identifier, and does not record your location or IP address. It is separate from the browser analytics in section 3, which stays behind the banner. Only EffiWise staff can see it, behind a password.

Marketing email is its own decision. The confirmation and the reminder are part of the thing you registered for, so they are sent either way, but we only add you to our email list if you tick the separate, never pre-checked box asking us to. You can unsubscribe from that list at any time.

3. When you accept analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Neither one loads in your browser until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics scripts run and no analytics cookies are set. See theCookie Policy for the details of what these tools store and how to change your choice.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
  • We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data to third parties, and we do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • We do not run advertising on this site, and we do not share your data with ad networks.
  • We do not build advertising or cross-site tracking profiles of you.
  • We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this site.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they only touch the data needed to do their job:

  • Resend delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox, and sends session confirmations and reminders to you.
  • Twilio transmits text messages, and only if you opted in to SMS.
  • Google Analytics processes usage analytics, and only after you consent.
  • PostHog processes usage analytics after you consent, and also holds the record of any session registration you submit, as described in section 2.
  • Neon provides the database that stores session registrations, so we have a roster for each session.
  • Vercel hosts the site and processes standard server request logs.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. That is the whole list. We are not in the business of moving your data around.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form emails as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and any relationship that follows, and we delete them when they are no longer useful. Session registration records are kept while the open hour runs, so we know who has attended and can invite you back. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in Google Analytics and PostHog, which hold usage data on a rolling basis rather than indefinitely. Email us and we will delete your registration record or remove you from the list.

Your choices

  • You can decline analytics cookies, or change your mind later, using Cookie Settings in the footer.
  • You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@effiwise.com.
  • You are never required to use the contact form. Email works too.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy laws. We honor those requests regardless of where you are.

Children

This is a business site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles personal information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
